Dear Student/New Site Member,

Welcome to Jaws Scripting 101 with Jackie McBride. In this course, you will learn everything you need to know in order to assist you in using the Jaws scripting language to make the Jaws screen reader work better with many and varied applications.

Module Overview

Module 1 covers material from Chapters 1-4 .
Module 2 covers material from Chapters 5-8.
Module 3 covers material from Chapters 9-12.

Once you’ve been accepted in to the course, joined this site and paid your fees, you may download a copy of the course textbook as well as recordings of lectures held so far from the pages on the mane navigation portion of this web site.

Membership

The various membership levels of this web site relate to which parts of the course you’ve paid for. The pages visible in the mane navigation will vary depending on which level of membership you hold. If you've paid for the course in its entirety, then all content willl be visible when it becomes available. If not, then you'll see the material only for those portions of the course for which you've paid. please make an additional installment payment and your priveleges will be quickly upgraded.

Lectures

Each week’s lecture will relate to a chapter unless otherwise specified. You are strongly encouraged to attend these lectures, but they will also be recorded for your convenience should you be unable to do so.

To attend a lecture, you will need to refer to my E-mail relating to the use of the TeamTalk client. This E-Mail provides information on where to get TeamTalk, how to find the correct channel and the required password to access that channel. Lectures are held each Friday, beginning June 18, from 2100-2230 GMT.

Downloading Material

All documents/course notes are in .rtf format, and you will need to unzip them to read them. All recorded lectures are MP3, (no un zipping required).
